Last week Bob Katz mastered my new C.d titled 'For You, Stranger' I think this will be my best release yet. Given he had to work with my Roland sparse mixes, the sound is warmer and fuller than my previous albums.There is more roar and drive, the songs soar and ebb and the message is much more compelling after this professional mastering. I am very happy with the results. I am designing the layout for the c.d. It will be titled For You, Stranger. Since most of my listeners are strangers I think this is appropriate. I am a curious person who is interested in others because of their difference. I am making some videos with some friends for the new album. The album is in the final stages of mastering. Release date will be given soon. At the end of my project I had 6 songs I did not like my drum parts. The great drummer Kevin Wik turned my songs into great charming peices. I have to tell you, my timing was a bit off on a couple so give this guy alot of credit for patching things up so to speak. Kevin is a creative drummer, I knew he would sound good on my songs because we played together for so many years in the band 'The Silent Workers'. Still I was awed at his performance.
